If it has anything to do with the outside of your house, the people at DTI Siding and Gutters (Double T Rain Gutters & Siding) say they will do it for you. Furthermore, we have investigated the business practices of DTI Siding and Gutters, and the way they treat their customers. As a result, I am proud to endorse the company, and declare DTI Siding and Gutters Gephardt Approved.

The company got started over 16 years ago when owners Tye and Tracy Farnsworth say they were looking for someone to redo the rain gutters on their own home. They wanted seamless gutters and they say no one would do it. A friend told them about a seamless rain gutter machine that was for sale. They bought it…..and that was the birth of DTI Siding and Gutters.

Now, nearly two decades later, they say their business is growing for the same reasons it grew in the first place: referrals from previous customers. “it’s all about treatment of customers. I would like us to treat our customers the way we would like to be treated,” Tracy told me, “we try to give them what I would want.”

Tracy says the most difficult part of the business is finding employees who will live up to Tye and Tracy’s standards. But, they have succeeded, Tracy says. “We’re very proud of their work,” says Tracy. “Our one employee, Sergio, she says does extra stuff we never asked him to do. He washes all the windows and vacuums when he’s done. He even sticks around to help customers hang blinds and hang pictures.”

Then there’s Larry, who specializes in siding. “He won’t use a nail where you don’t have to,” Tracy says. “His work is perfect and he never leaves a mess even overnight. He cleans up every day and restarts again if we have to work a second day.”

Tye and Tracy say they’ve grown from just a seamless gutter company into a company that installs windows, vinyl siding, fascia, soffits, ice melting systems, attic venting, garage door wraps, entry doors, awnings, chimney caps, bay window kits, chimney wraps, metal fabrication, permanent LED lights, and accent lighting.

Tye and Tracy seem like problem solvers to me. They say they enjoy educating their customers about the alternatives in quality and price that is available for their home improvements. A lot of what they install has to do with future expenses. “Whether it is siding or windows, the quality a customer chooses can really affect their utility bills,” says Tye. And Tracy adds, “With our computer software we have the ability to show a customer the before and after photos of what their project will look like before they even begin.”

Tye says he won’t over sell a customer. “We won’t sell them something they don’t need,” says Tye. “If there are any problems, I will go out and make sure the problem is fixed and the customer is happy.”

But problem solving: “You don’t have to pay us if it won’t solve the problem,” Tracy told me.

So, there you go: DTI Siding and Gutters. Now you know something about their business practices, you know something about how they treat their customers, and now you know why I am proud to endorse DTI Siding and Gutters as Gephardt Approved.
