This company has been around since 1920. The president today is James Manwill, and guess what? The president in 1920 was also named James Manwill. That’s right: grandfather, and now grandson. The company has now gone through three generations of family.
By the way, it’s rather interesting bit of history how grandpa first got started in plumbing. Go to Manwill’s “About” page on their website for an interesting little read.
I know why the success. My investigation found that while Manwill Plumbing and Heating dispatches some 15,000 calls a year, I could not find a complaint in the past year. My investigation through state and federal records finds that this is a first class company, easily qualified as a certified Gephardt Approved company you can trust.
Manwill Plumbing and Heating president, Jim Manwill, says he may not be the biggest, but he wants to be known as the fairest.
He has 41 full-time employees and the way to keep customers happy is to make his employees happy. Jim says he can’t meet every customer, so he counts on his loyal and happy employees to carry on his example and treat each customer the way Jim, himself, would like to be treated. “Hey,” Jim told me, “I’m a customer too.”
Manwill Plumbing and Heating’s President, Jim Manwill, says his goal is to watch his company turn 100. He wants his nephew, Brian Jackson, to take over the company. When Brian does, it will be the fourth generation owning and operating Manwill Plumbing and Heating.
So, Manwill Plumbing and Heating: Now you know what our investigation found out about this company. Now you know why I trust this company, and why I am proud to endorse Manwill Plumbing and Heating, and declare them Gephardt Approved.
