Owner Jeanne Peterson says PETERSON AUTO SALES was founded in 1965 as a family owned and operated company. She says that they are celebrating their 30th year in business this year. “We have a large circle of repeat customers,” says Jeanne. “75% of our business is based on return customers.”
“Customers are known to return to PETERSON AUTO SALES to trade in or upgrade a car, ” Jeanne tells us, “but customers are also welcome just to stop by. We stay connected with our customers,” says Jeanne. “We’ve watched their kids grow up.”

Craig Thompson tells us he’s personally bought 18 cars from Peterson Auto over the last 20 years. “The first time I went in there I saw a car I wanted, and I told Jeanne just give me a fair price. I told her I knew she had a job to do, and just be fair. Ever since then that’s all I have to do. I think I’m responsible for 40 cars sold, because I’ve referred my friends and family there. It’s always had a fair deal.”

For Jeanne, it’s all about the love of cars. “When I was growing up our dinner table conversation was always about cars. It turned into a love of cars.”
