Have you found yourself in need of a new air conditioning unit? Do you need a tune-up to your existing furnace? If you find yourself in need of any plumbing or HVAC work you could turn to a company I trust: SMEDLEY & ASSOCIATES.
I trust this company because we have investigated their history, licensing*, and the way the company treats its clients. ** We have also investigated the background of owner Gary Boam. As a result, I endorse SMEDLEY & ASSOCIATES, and I am proud to declare them GEPHARDT APPROVED.
“My goal as a business owner is to get a customer for life,” says SMEDLEY & ASSOCIATES owner Gary Boam. “There is a reason that many of our new clients come to us by way of referral: we take care of our customers.”
“We feel like we’re always taken care of.”- Joyce, customer
Joyce, a caregiver for longtime customer Glenn, tells me SMEDLEY & ASSOCIATES does just that, ‘takes care of their customers.’ “Glenn has been using SMEDLEY & ASSOCIATES for over ten years. They come out at least twice a year to get the furnace ready for winter, and the air-conditioning unit ready for the summer. One thing Glenn and I appreciate most is their ability to come out in emergency situations and we feel like we’re always taken care of.”
“For over 70 years, our family has been looking out for yours.”
Gary tells me that SMEDLEY & ASSOCIATES has been helping customers with their HVAC and plumbing needs since 1947. “For almost 70 years, our family has been looking out for yours. We offer several products including; new tankless water heaters, furnaces, heat pumps, humidity control, air conditioners, and air purification systems.”
“We service homes between Ogden and Sandy, and homes between Box Elder County and Summit County.” Gary tells me that another big component to his business is the variety of services they offer customers. “We offer air conditioning repair, furnace repair, plumbing, indoor air quality, and back flow assembly testing and certification.”
When it comes to his employees, Gary tells me that his technicians will be clean, wearing an identifiable uniform, and are N.A.T.E., certified, meaning they have passed HVAC examinations provided by ‘North American Technician Excellence’ committee. “All of our guys are extremely knowledgeable. I have one master plumber who has been with us for nearly 30-years. I have an HVAC technician who has been with us for over 23. All of our guys know what they’re doing. They’re all trustworthy, have passed a drug test, and criminal background check.”
“We don’t price gouge our customers.”
As a business owner, Gary says one thing that really gets under his skin is seeing customers paying too much for services. “If I were a consumer searching for an HVAC or plumbing company, I would call us because of our up front pricing. We don’t charge by the hour, instead by task. We don’t price gauge our customers.”
When it comes to warranties, Gary tells me his biggest priority is making sure his customers are taken care of. “All of the products we install come with a manufacturer’s warranty that varies by product. We also offer warranties on all of our craftsmanship. We just want to make our customers happy.”
So there you go: SMEDLEY & ASSOCIATES. You know about Gary Boam and his business. You know about their products, their services, and their technicians. You know about their commitment to customer satisfaction.
