For over 30 years, our office has provided comprehensive dentistry in Taylorsville, Utah, and we also welcome patients from the surrounding communities, Once a patient visits us, they come back forever, and so do their children !!
“I think the world of him. He’s good,” declares patient Tammy Olsen. “Other dentists sell stuff. He doesn’t push things that are not needed.”
Those words of high praise are similar to the glowing reports from several other patients I’ve talked to from Southwest Dental.
It means if you are looking for a company I trust for a full service dental office, you can turn to Southwest Dental in Taylorsville. I trust this company because we have thoroughly investigated the company’s history, licensing, how they do business, and how they treat their patients. It’s why I support, guarantee, and endorse the company. And, it’s why I am proud to declare Southwest Dental Gephardt Approved.
“…if you keep people in mind, business takes care of itself…”
-Dr. Victor Pickett, Southwest Dental
“They don’t always teach you how to treat patients in dental school,” says veteran dentist Victor Pickett. Dr. Pickett is describing the culture he wants everyone to see when they visit his office. “I enjoy it when patients enjoy what they see, and are happy with the results. I get a kick out of that.” The business model, he says, is to be the lowest priced and the best dentistry in the valley, and never telling a patient they need something when they don’t need it.
“…whenever we would plan to visit Utah, we would schedule dental appointments…”
-Tammy Olsen, Southwest Dental patient
Check this out for patient loyalty: Patient Tammy Olsen moved to Kansas City and she’s been to other dentists. But in all that time out-of-state, Tammy says she returned just to see Dr. Victor Pickett. “He’s a great dentist,” she says. “I trust him. Other dentists have tried to sell me stuff. Dr. Pickett doesn’t push things that are not needed.
“It got to the point that whenever we would plan to visit Utah, we would schedule dental appointments.”
“They are very generous and dedicated,” says patient Kalynn Sedgwick. “My father-in-law had some dental problems, and he had a hard time leaving the house. Dr. (Nick) Rudelich brought equipment to the house, and worked on him here. That’s above and beyond, and I appreciate him.”
“You know, sometimes cheaper is better,” says Dr. Pickett. “Our crown costs are less than they were 20 years ago, so why not pass on the lower prices to our patients. We are the least expensive dental practice in the valley. None of the four dentists here are high priced. We just don’t think that way.
“I hate the upsell,” Dr. Pickett exclaimed. “Do you know I can get $2500 just for referring a patient for an expensive procedure. I have to do basically nothing to get the money. We have done none of that. We’re more interested in the patients.”
“…I’d rather pay cash than change dentists…”
-Colleen Taylor, Southwest Dental Patient
Patient Colleen Taylor says she’s been going to Dr. Curtis Condie at Southwest Dental for 20 years. “I’ve been to other dentists, and I feel like I’ve been beat up in a dark alley. But, Dr. Condie is caring, and he really knows what he’s doing.”
Southwest Dental is a full service dental office, and they’ve been around for a long time. Patient after patient tell me they drive by a whole bunch of other dental offices to get to Southwest Dental. “We are actually looking around for an insurance company,” says Colleen Taylor when
she discovered a change in her circumstances placed her with an insurance company which would not take Southwest Dental. “I’d rather pay cash than change dentists.”
“We are all most interested in keeping our patients happy year after year,” says Dr. Pickett. “If you keep people in mind, business takes care of itself.”
So there you go: Southwest Dental. Now you know what my investigation found about this company, and each of the dentists who practice there. Now you know how they treat their patients. And now you know why I trust, support, and endorse the company.
And, you know why I’m proud to declare Southwest Dental Gephardt Approved.
