Zero Down Bankruptcy !!

If you’re considering filing for bankruptcy you could turn to a law firm I trust: Beehive Advocates.

“…we can start a bankruptcy for zero money down…”

-Bryan Sullivan, GM, Beehive Advocates

I have investigated Beehive Advocates and its owner KC Garner.  I dug into their history and background through the Utah Bar Association and the state and federal courts.  I have looked at their business practices, and the way they treat their clients.

As a result, I trust Beehive Advocates, and I am proud to declare the law firm Gephardt Approved.

“…contact us as early as you can…”

-KC Garner, Owner, Beehive Advocates

For those who need to file bankruptcy, Beehive Advocates offers to start the process with a client paying absolutely nothing.  Payments are delayed until after the case is filed in bankruptcy court.  At that point, creditors are ordered to stop calling demanding money.

It is a practice I have advocated for a long time.  I believe those who are going bankrupt have no money, by definition.  Bankruptcy lawyers in the past have insisted potential clients turn to relatives, friends, or anyone else to get the money to begin bankruptcy proceedings.

Not Beehive Advocates:  “We do a two-part contract which can be zero money up front,” says General Manager Bryan Sullivan.  “For the first part of the contract, we file the case.  That stops the garnishments or judgements or collection actions coming after them.  For the second part of the contract we set up a payment plan so our clients can pay the typical $1500 to $2500 bankruptcy fees at 200 or 300 dollars per month.  And with all the creditors backing off, we find clients are easily able to stay in their homes, feed their families, keep their cars, pay the fees, and get on with a much, much better life.”

“Generally speaking, the earlier a client contacts us, the easier it is for a better bankruptcy outcome,” says Sullivan.  “Many people who are behind in their bills are embarrassed and they hesitate to call.  Over time, problems can get worse legally and with creditors.”

“…They answered the phones and calmed me down…”

-Susan G*, client, Beehive Advocates

Sullivan says when clients first call, they are panicked with creditors calling every day.  He says the first order of business is to settle them down.  He says very often, clients don’t even need to file bankruptcy.  In those case, clients are referred to credit counselors to get back on their financial feet and stop creditors from hounding them.

Beehive Advocates also does accounting.  The company has two full-time tax preparers, and a list of people who show up every year for very affordable tax filings.

And when it comes to bankruptcy, having accounts on hand is really convenient.  It often allows clients to negotiate lower tax debts with state or federal taxing agencies.

“…They helped me get through it…”

-Susan G.*, client, Beehive Advocates

The decision to file personal bankruptcy can be very emotional.  People worry they will be branded a deadbeat, or that financial life as they know it will come to an end.  Beehive Advocates works to eliminate that.  “I was very emotional and I took a chance,” says client Susan G*. “They calmed me down.  After that, the process was very painless.  They made sure I was informed throughout the entire process.  I am very thankful to the incredible amount of care they took with me and my case.”

“…We will be there for you every step of the way...”

-KC Garner, Owner, Beehive Advocates

“Helping someone put back the pieces is one of the things I enjoy most,” says Beehive Advocates owner KC Garner.  “We’re the kind of firm that answers at night.  We take your calls and respond to your emails on the weekend.  We realize that money troubles cause an enormous amount of stress. This is a big deal to our clients and we want them to feel taken care of.”

Beehive Advocates tells us they have handled a lot of cases where the client should have reached out for help much earlier.  “A lot of times people are unsure of where to turn.  Many times it’s due to embarrassment.  I don’t think people should be embarrassed.  People find themselves in bankruptcies for a number of different reasons.  Accidents, medical bills and divorce are part of life and they can all impact your finances.  I really want to emphasize that there are options, but you need to reach out.”

“…They followed through on everything they told me….”

-Vickie F.*, client, Beehive Advocates

“Bankruptcy is a scary thing and you need someone there for you throughout the process,” client Vicki F.* told me.  “They took great care in letting me know what to do.  They followed through with everything they said they would.  They have just been awesome.”

So, there you go: Beehive Advocates.  Now you know what I know about this law firm.  You know about their history and their services.  You know about the staff and their commitment to helping their clients.

And now you know why Beehive Advocates is Gephardt Approved.

By the way, Beehive Advocates says it does more pro bono (free) work than any other bankruptcy law firm in Utah.
