If you are looking for a company that can increase your business profile and presence on the Internet you can turn to a company I trust: Dealicious Buying Group. You see, we have investigated the way this company operates its business, and the way they treat their customers.  As a result, I am pleased to endorse Dealicious Buying Group, and I am proud to declare the company Gephardt Approved.

Can you imagine finding advertising that customers actually seek out rather than trying to avoid?  That is precisely the business model Dealicious Buying Group founder Daryl Austin says he’s created.

I spent some time with Daryl to find out about his company’s two pronged approach to bringing customers to businesses through exposure on the Internet.  First, his company creates Facebook pages for businesses so that consumers may have direct and immediate interaction with that business (example: www.facebook.com/rumbiislandgrill ).   Second, there are daily free contests; which drive consumers to a business’s Facebook page.

Daryl says the Facebook pages they create mimic web pages.  “Each page looks and feels like a website.  People are already used to how websites work so it’s easy to get people used to operating our Facebook pages,” says Daryl.

“People don’t spend time surfing the Internet for a business’s web sites anymore,” Daryl told me.  “People do surf Facebook all day long, and when they land on a business Facebook page, you’d better give them something interesting to look at and something to do.”

The part with which consumers are perhaps the most familiar is how Dealicious Buying Group gets customers to then visit those business’s Facebook pages.  Every day, Dealicious Buying Group offers a giveaway, which costs customers absolutely nothing, unlike some other Internet contests.  “Some companies get businesses to offer a discount, or they require some other customer obligation, but what we do is actually give away whatever a business offers up to present and potential customers,” Daryl says.  “I’m trying to restore Internet integrity.  So many businesses say “free,” but most of the time there are strings attached.  Not with us.  The things our businesses offer are genuinely free to customers who then actually want to connect with that business.”

Here’s how it works:  A business offers something of value.  If it’s a restaurant, the giveaway might involve free dinners for two.  If it’s a service type business, the giveaway might involve either that service, or that business purchasing $50 dollar gift cards to a popular store like Target or Costco.  Then, Dealicious Buying Group posts the giveaway contest information for all Facebook members (“fans”) of Dealicious Buying Group.  Those members enter to win that giveaway by clicking “LIKE” on the business’s Facebook page, and maybe writing something nice about the business.  That’s it!  Then, using a random selection process, Dealicious Buying Group selects winners every day.

“We’ve given away more than $40,000 worth of prizes in our first year and we have yet to have a business express anything but happiness,” says Daryl.  “In fact, 100 per cent of the companies we have invited back to participate in our giveaways want to do it again.  It’s generating happy customers for every business involved.

After each contest where consumers click “LIKE,” that click or comment is passed on to each customer’s friends, and that is passed on to their friends, and so on.  It means exposure of any business involved in a giveaway increases dramatically.  “Businesses are helping customers and customers are helping businesses,” Daryl says.

Daryl says his background is in marketing.  “Studies show people need to be exposed to a company an average of 7 times before they make a purchase,” he says.  “So, we make that exposure happen quickly, giving businesses a strong presence on Facebook.”  That is what Daryl says Dealicious Buying Group is doing for businesses:  giving them a strong presence on Facebook.

Daryl is so confident in what they are doing both in creating Facebook pages for business and running contests for businesses that he will offers any business a refund, or a new free contest if they are not happy.  “I haven’t faced that,” Daryl says “on the contrary, businesses usually want to give away more the next time.”

Daryl says their goal is simple, to make everyone involved happy.  “These are hard times,” he says.  “Businesses benefit by getting more customers exposed to their brand and message, and those customers are happy because they can catch a break.  “I guess we put to test the statement that there’s no such thing as a free lunch.”

So, there you go:  Dealicious Buying Group.  Now you know their business practices and the way they treat their customers.

Now you know why I am proud to endorse Dealicious Buying Group as Gepahrdt Approved.
