Business Details

“They do absolutely excellent work,” declared customer Mark Hagen from his home in Riverton, Utah.

“The work they do is fantastic,” Minette Marcroft told me.  “And their clean-up is unbelievable.”

Mark and Minette are talking about their dealings with the T&R Concrete Company, and its owner Ted Epley.  T&R Concrete specializes in residential and small commercial work.  They do driveways, patios, sidewalks, stamped work as well as polishing and concrete repair.

“…the biggest thing is educating customers…”

-Ted Epley, Owner, T&R Concrete

Owner Ted Epley told me of his nearly 30 years in the business,  “Sure, it’s a lot of hard work, but when I got started in this, I actually really enjoyed changing the curb appeal and perspective homes.  And, what we do really creates a value to homes and businesses.”

Add that to the fact that I thoroughly investigated the background of T&R Concrete and its owner.  We investigated their licensing and insurance over the years.  We checked into both federal and state court records.  And, we looked at what enforcers had to say about the company.   As a result, I trust and endorse T&R Concrete.  I back them with my $1000 guarantee.  And, I am proud to declare the company Gephardt Approved.

Here is something I found that is somewhat different in the way T&R Concrete operates.  Several customers told me he offers a complete explanation of what he’s going to do.  “He goes through a very thoughtful process of explaining what he’s doing, and why,” said Mark Hagen.  “He explains everything in great detail.”

“He was really good about explaining the project, and everything changed after the explanation,” Minette Marcroft told me.  “It turned out to be much better than what I had envisioned for the privacy wall we had built.  It was better, and even less expensive.”

All that education is done on purpose.  “The biggest thing is educating  customers,” company owner Ted Epley told me.  “People start out with a vision of their project.  We do what they want, and often more just by explaining everything, like ground and compaction and weather issues.  The biggest thing is making sure customers are happy for years to come.”

“…they treat their clients with respect…”

-Fred Smith, Customer, T&R Concrete

“It still looks great after 29 years,” says customer Craig Niebuhr in West Jordan.  He had T&R Concrete put in a new porch.  “The concrete he laid is still looking great.  I was lucky back then.  He is trustworthy.  I picked the right person.”  Craig has since had T&R Concrete put in a heated driveway:  “It’s great.  I love it.”

Here is something else:  Ted Epley says if you do business with him, it’s personal.  “I feel like too many people try to deal with customers over the phone or over emails.  When I get to meet with people, I can explain everything.  I can tell them what to expect of the project, and of the concrete over the years.”

As for the employees, the customers I called had as many nice things to say about them as they did the owner.

“He’s got good employees all the time,” proclaimed customer Fred Smith in Riverton.   Smith is a contractor who has used T&R Concrete for many projects over the years.  “They treat their clients with respect.  They are very honest, and do a great job.  If there are any problems that come up, he makes them right.”

So, there you go.  Now you know what my independent investigation has revealed about T&R Concrete, and its owner Ted Epley.  And, you know what his customers have told me about his work.  So, now you know why I trust and endorse T&R Concrete.  And, you know why I am proud to declare the company Gephardt Approved.
